Since 1964, the Southwestern Oklahoma Historical Society has relied on members and supporters to preserve the documented history of Southwest Oklahoma. Membership strengthens our ability to publish Prairie Lore, maintain archival records, host meetings, and participate in regional community events.
An annual membership is available for $20 per year.
Membership includes:
• Two printed editions of Prairie Lore annually
• Access to monthly meetings
• Opportunities to participate in preservation initiatives
• Invitations to special programs and community events
• The ability to support historical research and documentation in Southwest Oklahoma
Your membership helps ensure that regional Indigenous heritage, pioneer records, military history, and community stories remain preserved for future generations.
Membership enrollment options may include:
• Online payment
• Mail-in membership form
• In-person sign-up at monthly meetings
• Event-based enrollment
Until online processing is available, individuals may inquire during monthly meetings at the Lawton Public Library or contact the Society directly.
